From prayers to poems, from art to science; we keep on shining

Following the Prime Minister’s statement on Sunday evening, we are awaiting further government clarification and guidance on how this will affect school.

School will remain closed, except to children whose parents are critical workers and identified children, and the current ‘school share’ arrangement will continue until further notice.

Stations of the Cross and Holy Week

This week we will spend time together reflecting on Jesus' journey. The Stations of the Cross allow us to imagine that we are walking with Jesus as he carries his cross, reminding us of the sacrifice he made to show his love for us.

An update from school nurses.

Primary School

The school nursing team will continue to operate whilst schools are closed.

Should you or your child need to access the school nurse then please telephone 0300 247 0040.

This service is available Monday to Friday 9-5.

As of Monday 23rd March 2020, if children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the virus spreading. We will provide care for a limited number of children, which includes children whose parents are critical to the Covid-19 response. Many parents working in these sectors may be able to ensure their child is kept at home. Every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.

School will be open for a limited number of key children between 8:45 and 3:15, all children who are not eligible for free school meals will need to be provided with a packed lunch.

If you are at home and your child is eligible for free school meals then these can be collected from the school office between 12 and 1 pm.

The school office will be open for telephone calls between 8:30 and 11:30 and emails until 3:30. If any of our families require any support or guidance at this time, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Many thanks for your continued support at this time.

Congratulations to our competition winners
