PE and Sport Money

PE and Sport Funding

We already provide a full P.E. curriculum through our teaching within the normal school day and this is enhanced by the after school sports clubs and activities that are on offer. The combination of the curriculum and extra-curricular activities enables the children to access a wide range of sport and physical education which contributes to their fitness and overall wellbeing.

The extra government funding means that we can invest in expertise from sports providers to run alongside the clubs and activities already on offer from our committed and dedicated staff.

Amount we receive: £17520

How we use it:

to continue to our association with the Chorley Sports Partnership, who offer expert support to our staff and help to develop sport within our school, including competitions for children in all ranges, support the professional development of school based staff and promotion of a healthy lifestyle – through our Change4Life club.

used to continue our Outdoor and Adventurous activities programme

To employ a lunchtime sports coach

To provide resources to support the teaching of PE throughout the school.
