Grouping materials by their properties...

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 1 Year: 2022 - 2023

Today we reviewed our learning by grouping objects depending on whether they were natural or human made materials. We then used the human made materials and grouped them depending on what they were made form and talked about the natural material they came from - plastic is made from oil or glass is made from sand. Then we learnt the properties of materials - are they shiny, smooth, transparent, waterproof etc... We then grouped a range of materials depending on their property.
