Investigating Fatty Foods

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 3 Year: 2023 - 2024

Today we have been investigating 'fatty foods.'  The foods samples we tested were: chocolate, cracker, shortbread biscuit, seaweed, rice cake and crisp. These were all uncooked food. We predicted from 1-6 - 1 being the most fatty  to 6 being the least fatty. We put the 6 items on baking paper and left them for 1 hour. After the hour we looked at the baking paper to see which had left the greasiest mark - proving which was the fattiest food. We then reordered our results.
