Investigating friction...

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 5 Year: 2022 - 2023

Today we have investigated friction.

Question: Which surface creates the most friction?

We have predicted and decided what variables to change - surfaces and variables to keep the same - the height of a ramp and the car. We have then tested these. Most of us thought sand paper would create the most friction however our results have found wood created the most friction. We now need to decide whether it was a fair test, what went well, what we could change and what we would investiagte if we carried out teh investigation again.
