Investigating solubility.

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 5 Year: 2022 - 2023

Solubility means dissolve. Today we investigated materials and their solubility. We tested 5 materials - sand, coffee, bicarbonate of soda, brown sugar and rock salt. We found some materials were soluble - the best was coffee but others were less soluble. Some of those less soluble we thought about whether heating or grinding the material up would help the dissolving process.
