Measuring and Observing the effects of exercise...

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

Today we have been observing and measuring the effects of exercise on our body. We carried out a variety of activities to decide whether they made our heart beat faster or stay the same. So from running on the spot, carrying out a 'Just Dance for Kids' to tapping our nose we know when our body has been effected by exercise. We found out that not only does our heart rate increase, we breath heavier, our muscles start to feel tired, we feel hotter and sometimes sweaty. We have also been thinking about hygiene routines and how often we carry out these routines.
