Teeth!

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 4 Year: 2022 - 2023

We have been learning about different types of teeth during our Science lesson today. We know the names of our teeth are - incisors, canines, pre-molars, molars and wisdom teeth (for some adults). We have used our teeth to decide by biting food to decide their function. The pear needed our incisors to bite it as it was hard and needed the sharp and thinness, where as the bread needed our canines / pre molars to bite it as it was softer. We realised our food moved back to our molars for them to grind our food before swallowing it.
