To finish off our Science topic on 'Uses of Materials', we have investigated the strength of a shopping bag. We tested four different materials - cotton, paper, recycled mixed fabric and plastic. We added weights to each bag to see which could hold the most without stretching and ripping. We found the cotton bag to be the best because it didn't stretch or rip.
