Science Week

1.3.22
This week we have been celebrating Science Week in school. As part of our work looking at seasonal changes we have been thinking about questions about the weather that we could investigate in school. The children generated lots of questions that we could explore. We decided as a class that we would investigate whether it rains more when it is cold and windy. Once we planned our investigation we set up our measuring equipment outside. We are using a wind sock to measure the wind speed according to the Beaufort Scale, a rain gauge to measure how many millimetres of rain falls and a thermometer so we can record temperature in Cecius. We will take readings from our equipment each day at 2pm and see what we can conclude from our results.
