Apple tasting 23.9.22

Lesson: Religious education

Class: Year 1 Year: 2022 - 2023

In RE this week, we have been celebrating the wide variety of food we have available to eat in our country by tasting a variety of different apples. After tasting each one, we described the taste and texture of each apple using a range of adjectives and decided if we liked it or not. after we had finished tasting all the apple the children voted for which was their favourite one. To finish our lesson we took a moment to think about how lucky we are to have these foods availble to us and how people who have experienced a poor harvest or have little food to eat must feel.
