Finding halves

In maths, we have been learning about fractions. At the start of our topic, we were finding half of a shape or a picture by folding it or cutting it into two equal parts. Today, we moved onto finding half of a quantity by sharing the amount into 2 equal groups. We worked practically to find out half of different numbers and made links with the strategies we used in our division unit of work.
