Identifying wild plants

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 1 Year: 2021 - 2022

29.4.22
We had a lovely time this afternoon going outside to investigate the wild plants growing in and around our school grounds. We found blue bell, buttercups, clever and nettles growing near church and dandelions, bramble, daisies and dogs violet growing in our school grounds. We talked about how plants are living things so we should look after them and how some plants can hurt us because they are prickly or their leaves sting.
