Our Solar System

Class: Year 5 Year: 2023 - 2024
Today we have been learning about our solar system, the 8 plants and their relation to the sun. We have discussed temperatures and what plants are generally made from, whether it is rock or gas. We have learnt Earth is 'the Goldilocks planet,' everything is just right - not to hot and not to cold and water is on the surface. We made a solar system, not to scale, using steps to show the distance of the planets from the sun.
