Road Safety - Walk to school week...

Lesson: PSHE and citizenship

We kicked started our week today with many children walking to school for 'Road Safety' awareness. We had four meeting points in the village where teachers waited and then walked with children and their parents and carers to school. We discussed in our worship how to keep safe when walking to school aswell as riding or scooting to school. We then put these into practice today. Let's see who continues to walk to school this week and for the coming weeks. Thank you to all the parents and carers for their support.

We linked this walk to Anti-Bullying week with exercise being good for us both physically and mentally. Not only have we helped ourseleves we have helped our environment by reducing the emissions usually emitted when driving to school and saved a little money on fuel.
